Assignment 3 - Portraits

This is my portrait of someone I know.  This is Matthew my roomate and with a combover he looks exactly like Superman which is something I've been telling him for years.  Using my other roomate's shirt I went to action replicating a classic pose of the man of steel.  This is probably the coolest photo I've ever seen in my life.

This is my self portrait, while it may seem relatively simple i believe its a representation that i all too often find myself in....bored out of my mind while trying in vain to study wishing i was doing something (anything) else.  The black and white of myself and the room accentuate (is that a real word?) my disinterest in my surroundings while the colorful butterflies show the subconscious fleeting randomized thoughts that are prob going through my head.

This is the portrait of someone I didn't know.  While not a lot is going on in this picture I just feel like its very representative of Pittsburgh and the southside.

Assignment 2- Landscapes

While not incredibly scenic, i like this shot of mellon and the edge of the Duquesne campus

This is prob my favorite pic of the group.  I was able to capture both downtown and oakland and i like how the off-center bridge provides something to look at between the two parts of the city.

Not sure why, but i think this one just looks cool

Another good pic of the south side; i like how the 10th street bridge sits as the focal point in the middle of the photo as well.
